yeah, yeah, V-day happened.
Was it great? It was great. But what is even greater, is always greater, is this song by Frank Sinatra….
“The days of wine and roses laugh and run away like a child at play
Through the meadow land toward a closing door
A door marked “nevermore” that wasn’t there beforeThe lonely night discloses just a passing breeze filled with memories
Of the golden smile that introduced me to
The days of wine and roses and youThe days of wine and roses…
[more instrumental-rest of the first verse](which happens to be the best part of the song for dancing, IMO)The lonely – the night discloses just a passing breeze filled with memories
Of the golden smile that introduced me to
The days of wine and roses and you”
In case you feel the need to close your eyes and sway to the Master Crooner just as I’m doing now, here ’tis…

I may have mentioned afore my Walkman and headphones being constant companions during my childhood? Well, this album was on constant repeat.
And I cannot tell you how many moonlit evenings I spent dancing to it under the Ozarkian stars with my horse as my only witness.
Love you baby girl!!! Not enough Frank’s in the world today!
